HOME Groups
(Homes Open for Ministry and
Encouragement)
Throughout the week we meet together in
HOMES. These small group meetings are great opportunities to
grow in our love for God and for one another. It’s also a great way
to slow down and focus on the things that really matter in life.
Each week we study God’s Word, pray and encourage each other.
Dessert and coffee are often a part of the evening as well.
Alpha
Alpha is an opportunity to explore the
meaning of life in a relaxed friendly setting. Alpha has
become a worldwide phenomenon and is offered in 155 countries.
Each week people enjoy food, laughter, and learning in
a fun and friendly atmosphere where no question about life or God is
seen as too simple or too hostile…. Questions like- Is there a God?
What is life all about? Where did I come from? Where am
I going?
For more information or to find out about
our next Alpha please feel free to contact us.
Personal Growth
As a church we seek to provide materials that will help people spend time in God’s Word each day. “Our Daily Bread,” and “Scripture Union” are among the materials we make available.o:p>

Equip
We see the development of leadership as being an important part of our mission so we provide opportunities for our leaders to discover, develop and live out their leadership abilities. Realizing that Christ’s church is much larger than our own local church or denomination we also welcome members from other churches to participate. o:p>

Quotes from former students
"SEAN is incredible! A great time of
personal growth and an eye opener to the life and times of Jesus
Christ. I wouldn't have missed it for the world!"
"WOW! I love it!"
"I have used my SEAN books as a
resource more than all of my Bible College text books combined!"
"All I wanted was an in-depth Bible
study. What I ended up with was an in-depth Bible study,
confidence in sharing my beliefs, a confidence and desire to turn
around and teach others, and a well worn Bible!"
"SEAN is the most effective tool for
personal growth, ministry preparation and leadership development I
have ever seen."
About SEAN
SEAN stands
for Study by Extensions for All Nations. It was developed
overseas as a way of training people who could not go to Bible
college for ministry. Students study at home using a book that
becomes their teacher. Once a week they meet in a small group
setting with a tutor. Each class consists of prayer time, a
quiz, and a time of discussion. There are a total of 3 books
and each book takes 3 months to complete.
The focus of the course is on the life
and ministry of Jesus Christ as recorded in the book of Matthew.
As you study God's word you'll also learn basic doctrine (i.e. Why
do I believe in the Trinity and the importance of this doctrine?),
false cults and how to recognize them, Bible study techniques, the
book of Acts, missions, Bible geography, Christian ethics, family
life and much more!

Short Term Missions
Our Short Term Mission Trips involve coming alongside
ministries in other parts of the world to assist them in their
ministry in whatever capacity is needed. In the months leading up
to their trip team members meet on a regular basis to prepare for
their cross-cultural experience. The trips impact the communities
they visit and have a lasting impact on the team members themselves.
Seminars and conferences
We also promote and participate in local leadership seminars and conferences./span>
